Honestly I think this was a really good buy while on sale. I had originally bought a Retrospec Quip (Semi-good/bad 22" board) and was kind of tired of the small size and quality. I wanted to see the quality difference between a Quip and a legit Nickel board, and it's pretty obvious the Penny Nickel is superior. Qualities are a way smoother ride, fast turning, way better stability (Coming from a 22").
Only thing I found odd was the axle nuts were not tightened as much on the wheels, causing them to move around somewhat freely. To fix just get a 13mm socket and tighten them up a little, not too much though or the wheels won't spin as well.
If you are contemplating a knock off for the cheap price, I'd say buy it if your just starting out to get a feel for the size and cheaper quality. You're gonna appreciate a Penny brand board so much more once you get one.
